Bonnie Raitt performed on late-night television on Monday night (Aug. 29) -- and got everyone talking. Raitt's cover of the 1987 INXS hit "Need You Tonight" was the very definition of rock 'n' roll.

Raitt performed to a cheering crowd on Kimmel's outdoor stage, shredding on guitar and showcasing her vocal prowess. Showing off a cheeky smile throughout the song, it's pretty clear that Raitt is having a great time -- and knows that she's completely dominating in a way only she can. She may be covering a song that was first released in the '80s, but Raitt's take on "Need You Tonight," is so unique that it seems as though the song was made just for her. Thanks to some hard-rocking guitars and her perfectly raspy voice, Raitt's rendition of the classic pop hit is an instant classic in its own right.

Her cover of "Need You Tonight" appears on Raitt's latest album, Dig in DeepIt's the 17th studio album for the 10-time Grammy Award winner, and reached No. 1 on not just one Billboard chart, but four, including both the Blues and Folk charts. The project features five songs written by the iconic blues-rock singer herself and brings together Raitt's longtime band, who rocked the stage with her on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as well.
