Blake Shelton's "Sure Be Cool If You Did" is sure off to a great start! The new tune is No. 1 on Billboard's country digital tracks chart in its very first week of release. Logging more than 97,000 digital downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the tune is first single from the country superstar's new album due later this year.

Stevie Nicks will share the stage with Lady Antebellum in an all-new episode of "CMT Crossroads." Meeting for the very first time on the "CMT Crossroads" stage in Los Angeles, the two superstar acts will share harmonies and stories on the show, which will premiere later this year on CMT. Stevie's Fleetwood Mac band mate, Lindsey Buckingham, collaborated with another country act, Little Big Town, on a previous "Crossroads" episode.

Several young students who survived last month's shooting massacre at Newtown, Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School have recorded a version of "Over the Rainbow." The children performed the song Tuesday (Jan. 15) with singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson on ABC's "Good Morning America." Proceeds from a recorded version of the song will benefit the United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Youth Academy. [Spinner]
