Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are officially a couple.

"Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating," Stefani's rep tells Us Weekly.

According to TMZ, the new couple has been dating "just days" and wanted to reveal their new relationship at the 2015 CMA Awards. Stefani will not be attending the awards show, according to the website, but they will be at after-parties together.

"They've been supporting each other through a difficult time, and they're really happy together," a source tells People. "Everyone is thrilled because they're both incredibly nice people."

Earlier on Wednesday (Nov. 4), rumors began circulating that Stefani had accompanied Shelton to Nashville. Both TMZ and People reported that Shelton and Stefani arrived together in Music City, on the same plane. Over Halloween weekend, the two The Voice coaches were spotted at the same Halloween parties, allegedly holding hands and getting close with each other.

“Blake and Gwen are going through similar situations,” a Shelton insider tells People. “They have spent time together and have drawn support from each other."

Shelton and Stefani both got divorced over the summer: The country star and Miranda Lambert separated in July, while the pop singer and Gavin Rossdale announced their divorce in August. Neither Shelton nor Lambert has delved into the details of their split, but Shelton has been open in discussing how he’s coping.

“I’m in a good place. I wasn’t, but I am now,” he said in early October. “It’s amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I’ve had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I’m loving it.”

The 2015 CMA Awards air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena beginning at 8PM ET on ABC.
