Billy Ray Cyrus and Wife Tish Call Off Divorce

The on-again, off-again marriage of Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife, Tish, is on again. The couple have announced that they have called off their divorce - for the second time.

Tish filed for divorce in June, citing irreconcilable differences. That move came three years after Billy Ray filed his own divorce papers in 2010, only to reconcile after a few months.

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together,” the couple say in a statement to ABC News. “We’ve had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work.”

Tish posted the photo above to Webstagram on Sunday (July 21), with the caption, "date night."

It hasn't been easy for them to get where they are. “We both went into couples therapy – something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways,” they state.

The couple have been married for 19 years. They have three children together, the oldest of whom is superstar Miley Cyrus. Billy Ray also adopted Tish's two children from a previous relationship.
