Less than five months after Billy Ray Cyrus announced he and his wife Tish were splitting after 17 years of marriage, the country star says he is reuniting with his spouse!

"I've dropped the divorce," he said during an appearance on ABC's 'The View.' "I want to put my family back together ... Things are the best they've ever been."

The 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer, who lamented only last month to GQ magazine that the Disney show 'Hannah Montana,' starring his daughter Miley Cyrus, "destroyed his family," now says that statement wasn't entirely accurate. "'Hannah Montana' didn't ruin my family," he acknowledged. "Fame did."

Now that he has focused on his wife and children, Billy Ray says everyone is doing better -- including his famous daughter. "I feel like I got my Miley back," he added. "I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before 'Hannah Montana.'"

Billy Ray filed divorce papers on October 26, 2010, citing irreconcilable differences. He and Tish were married in December of 1993, just a little over a year after welcoming daughter Miley. Son Braison was born in 1994 and daughter Noah in 2000. Billy Ray is also dad to Tish's older children from a previous marriage, as he adopted Trace, now 21, and Brandi, now 19, when they were young children. The singer/actor also has a 17-year-old son, Cody, from a previous relationship.

Watch a clip of Billy Ray's 'View' appearance below. The singer will also stop by ABC's 'Good Morning America' on Monday, March 21.
