Billy Currington has started the show for several country superstars over the years, including Brad Paisley, Sugarland and Carrie Underwood, and now he can add Kenny Chesney's name to that impressive list. The Georgia native has scored a slot on Kenny's 'Goin' Coastal' tour, an honor over which he couldn't be more thrilled.

"I've dreamed of playing these big stadiums for a long time, and to have the privilege to do so with Kenny puts this over the top," Billy states. "It makes it possible for me to reconnect with everybody and to do the thing that I love the most: performing. It'll be great to have the chance to share some of the new songs from 'Enjoy Yourself' with everyone."

The opportunity to play in larger venues is something Billy has been focusing on for most of his career. "I definitely dream of doing stadiums," Billy told The Boot. "It's always been a dream of playing the biggest places that exist. I just don't know those places yet, because I haven't been to them. But I definitely dream of playing a football stadium in Texas and close to my hometown in Georgia, and places like that."

Billy will be joined on the road by fellow opening act Uncle Kracker and the Zac Brown Band, who are playing in select cities as well.

Billy's latest single, 'Let Me Down Easy' is in the top 20 and climbing. Find his tour dates here.
