Collaborations figure prominently in the category of Best Americana Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell are nominated for their duo album, 'Old Yellow Moon,' and Steve Martin and Edie Brickell have been recognized for their collaboration on 'Love Has Come for You.'

In addition, Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale earned a nomination for their album, the appropriately-titled 'Buddy & Jim.'

There are also two solo acts in the category; Mavis Staples is nominated for 'One True Vine,' and Allen Toussaint is up for his latest, 'Songbook.'
