Ashley Monroe Debuts New Song From Upcoming Album

Ashley Monroe debuted a new song live on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

Monroe played 'Has Anybody Ever Told You' in public for the first time, but the song has been in her arsenal for some time. The Pistol Annies member penned the tune with Tyler Cain a while ago, but it's now finding its way onto her upcoming album.

The romantic tune is fitting for Monroe, who married White Sox pitcher John Danks in October.

Despite her forthcoming solo release, Monroe has denied rumors that Pistol Annies, her band with Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley, is breaking up.

“It’s funny how people just make up things, even after you tell what happened," she says. "It is what we said it was, we didn’t have time to rehearse for the tour, and we wanted to be our best. And it’s really as simple as that, but it’s entertaining to read all the different views. All the soap opera stories people can make up!”

Presley has just announced plans for a solo album of her own, due in the fall.
