Ashley Monroe has canceled a run of live performances due to an emergency health situation.

The Pistol Annies member and solo artist posted the following message to her official website on Thursday (July 10):

My sweet fans,

I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this run because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I’m heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital. Thank you for understanding and please keep me in your prayers. I’m so sorry for the disappointment this will cause, but if I don’t take care of this it could risk my life. I promise I will make it up to you all.

-Ashley

Monroe has been touring to promote her Vince Gill-produced 'Like a Rose,' which was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2013.

The next show on her tour schedule is slated for July 18 at the Buckle Up Music Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.
