Ashley Judd's revealing autobiography, 'All That Is Bitter and Sweet,' was released earlier this week, naturally causing many to wonder how her mother Naomi Judd, and sister, Wynonna, would react to the book. The tell-all memoir details Ashley's shocking allegations of sexual assault at the hands of a neighbor, along with tales of drug use and other dysfunctional situations within the Judd family, but Wynonna says reports the book has caused a rift in the family are untrue.

"People are trying to pit us against each other," Wynonna said during an appearance with her mother on ABC's 'The View' Thursday (April 7) [quote via USMagazine.com]. "We agree to disagree in this family." Added Naomi, "I support Ashley. We all have three different realities of the same car ride of the nightmares we were in, it's her turn to tell her side of the story."

During their appearance on 'The View,' in anticipation of the premiere of the Judds' reality series on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) this Sunday, April 10, Wynonna and Naomi also both discussed being victims of sexual abuse. Wynonna, who wrote of her experience in her 2007 memoir, 'Coming Home to Myself,' told 'The View' audience that she has yet to confront her abuser, adding, "I'm a work in progress."

Naomi reveals in the OWN series that she had also warded off the unwanted advances of an older male relative when she was three years old.

"I rebuffed him, and it happened twice more," she says. "I knocked him away. I never said anything to anybody."

In a therapy session two years ago, Naomi revealed to a psychologist that being sexually abused was her first memory, but Wynonna says she only heard the story recently while the duo were on tour and the reality show was underway.

"I was a little resentful that the cameras were on," admits the singer. "But we're willing to step out on faith and hope that it helps someone else to tell someone because there is a lot of shame and secrecy."

'The Judds' two-hour premiere airs Sunday, April 10 at 9:00 PM (ET) on OWN.
