Amy Grant and Vince Gill Announce Ryman Residency

Amy Grant and Vince Gill have signed up to return to the Ryman Auditorium for an eight-night Christmas residency in December.

The duo sold out six holiday shows at the Ryman in 2014, so they added on two extra dates this time around. Performances are set for Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 22 and 23. The concept is similar to a Las Vegas residency: The couple won't perform their Christmas show together outside of the iconic auditorium.

"Christmas audiences are special," Grant says. "They tend to involve the whole family, and their emotions are a wonderful mix of anticipation and reverence. It's a thrilling experience for both of us."

Gill agrees, adding, "These holiday tours have become our favorites."

Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 through Ticketmaster and Ryman.com, with a price range of $35-$125.

Gill is set to head out on his Vince Gill & Friends Tour this March, along with Ashley Monroe, Charlie Worsham and his daughter Jenny Gill. The tour will make stops in El Dorado, Ark., St. Louis, Mo., Cincinnati, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wis., from March 19 to March 22.
