Here's your chance to eat gourmet food, sample fine wines and make merry with celebrated singer-songwriters Rodney Crowell, John Hiatt and Nanci Griffith, who will take the stage for what are billed as intimate performances to benefit the Americana Music Association.

The March 25-27 benefit at Blackberry Farm in East Tennessee comes just after the release of Rodney's book "Chinaberry Sidewalks.' The book details parts of Rodney's East Texas childhood and the turbulent love story between his parents. It took Rodney more than seven years to develop and write the account, but he didn't feel suffocated by the solitary work involved.

"I loved the work environment process," he tells The Boot. "I'm a monk, I thrive in the singularity of that existence, but I'm a strange character. As much as I enjoy the solitary monk-like existence, I also thrive on getting out the road and performing."

It's a good bet that at this event Rodney, Nanci and John will each share plenty of personal stories that surround their lives and especially their songs at this benefit weekend. Organizers promise a true look inside the songs of these award-winning writers.

Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tenn., is a favorite travel destination for bon vivants and gourmands. The Americana event will include special meals for participants.
