American Young to Appear on ‘The Bachelorette’

Hot new country act American Young will appear on an upcoming episode of the ABC TV show, 'The Bachelorette.'

The duo, made up of John Stone and Kristy Osmunson, will perform their latest single, 'Love Is War,' on Monday (June 30) as the current Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, tries to find true love with the remaining six men vying for her affection.

The Curb recording artists aren't the first country artists to appear on the hit TV show. Jon Pardi sang on the show earlier this season, while several other stars, including Gloriana, Billy Currington, Sarah Darling and Clay Walker have all performed for 'The Bachelorette' or 'The Bachelor.'

'Love Is War' is the debut single from American Young's new EP, which was released Tuesday (June 24), in advance of their freshman record.

“There will be an album, sometime this year,” Stone says. “We have written songs together, but Kristy has written with other people and I have written with other people and we have songs written solely by other people. At the end of day the best song should win no matter who wrote it.”

'The Bachelorette' airs on Mondays at 8PM ET on ABC.
