All for the Hall Concert Raises More than $450,000

The numbers are in from last week’s All for the Hall benefit, and once again, country music fans rose to the occasion! The star-studded event, organized by Keith Urban, raised an astonishing $465,000 for one of Music City’s most treasured institutions.

“The support that We’re All for the Hall has continued to receive truly validates the importance of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and its place at the epicenter of country music,” Keith shares (quote via Nashville’s Tennessean). “To all of the fans that have come out to the shows, the artists that have given so generously of their time and to the commitment of dollars, equipment and products that our corporate partners have given us, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We’ll see you again next year.”

The sold-out show, which was hosted by Keith and Vince Gill, featured performances by the Band Perry, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Alabama, Rascal Flatts and Thompson Square. This year’s proceeds brings the total tally for the annual All for the Hall concerts to approximately $1.5 million, which will go to various endeavors at the Nashville landmark, including the building’s expansion, plus its school and public programs.

The concert, which drew almost 14,000 attendees, was rescheduled from its original January date to accommodate Keith’s recovery from vocal cord surgery, but the “For You” singer says cancelling the event was never an option. “My goal for the concert, is really the same as the Hall’s,” he explained. “To help country fans connect the dots -– to find out where their music came from, how it’s evolved (and is still evolving) and to discover the artists that have influenced their favorite artists.”

Keith, who was surprised at the concert with an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry, will become an official member this Saturday, April 21. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
