Alejandro EscovedoAlejandro Escovedo may have sealed his musical legacy as a pioneer of alt-country, but he can rock with the best of them. Need proof? Check out his new album 'Street Songs of Love,' scheduled for release on June 29. You'll hear songs that find Alejandro pumping plenty of rock, whether he's trading lines with Bruce Springsteen around wicked guitar riffs or mixing it up vocally with Ian Hunter.

Alejandro partnered with long-time writing collaborator Chuck Prophet and producer Tony Visconti (T. Rex, David Bowie, U2, Morrissey) for the album. Alejandro is finishing an acoustic tour that ends April 16 at the Old Settlers Music Festival in Driftwood, Texas. He'll be back in the summer and fall for an extensive tour with his band, The Sensitive Boys.
