A mix of veteran country stars and newcomers are among the nominees for Album of the Year at the 2014 ACM Awards.

Blake Shelton scored a nomination for his most recent effort, 'Based on a True Story...,' and Luke Bryan is also nominated for his latest, 'Crash My Party,' which saw him break through to true superstar status.

Newcomers Florida Georgia Line got the nod for their first full-length album, 'Here's to the Good Times,' which has catapulted them to instant stardom, and Kacey Musgraves is nominated for her major-label debut, 'Same Trailer Different Park,' which won a Grammy for Best Country Album.

Tim McGraw scored a nomination for his latest, 'Two Lanes of Freedom,' which is his first album under a new deal with Big Machine.
