A Thousand Horses have released the music video for their newest single, "Southernality."

The "Southernality" video was directed by Shaun Sliva and was filmed in a concert setting -- the perfect opportunity for the group to show off their high-energy performances and electric stage presence. All of the clips that make up the "Southernallity" video were shot while A Thousand Horses -- Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher, Zach Brown and Graham Deloach -- were opening for Jason Aldean on his We Were Here Tour.

Slow motion, warm lighting and freeze-frame-style action draw viewers' focus to all the right places -- and sort of make ATH look like country superheroes. That slo-mo effect is especially cool when the group is jumping, throwing guitar picks and headbanging. Press play above to watch.

“This was a really fun shoot since we got to film most of it in a concert setting,” frontman Hobby says in a press release. “Our fans relate to the message of this song, and we love getting to show our Southern personalities when we perform.”

A Thousand Horses released Southernality, their debut album, last summer. They recorded the project at Zac Brown‘s Southern Ground studio with producer Dave Cobb, who has also worked with Jason Isbell and Chris StapletonSouthernality is available for download via iTunes and Amazon.
