UPDATE: FarmBorough 2016 has been canceled. The Boot's original story on the festival appears in full below.

The FarmBorough Festival will return to New York City for a second year in 2016, and there are plenty of country heavy hitters in the lineup.

Jason AldeanBrooks & DunnBrantley Gilbert, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett are all scheduled to play at the second annual FarmBorough Festival. Also in the lineup are A Thousand Horses, Billy Currington, Lonestar, Kacey Musgraves, David Nail and Eric Paslay.

In 2015, more than 40,000 country music fans flocked to the first-ever FarmBorough Festival to see headliners Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley.

“Since the gates closed on FarmBorough last year, we’ve been working towards today and how to come back even stronger than FarmBorough’s first year,” says Brian O’Connell, Live Nation's president of country touring, in a press release. “Having the heavyweight power of such huge and distinct names as well artists that I think will be the genre’s next big superstars on the bill helps ease the pressure a little bit of putting on a festival in the greatest city in the world.  I can’t wait to get back out there and continue to make our mark on the Big Apple.”

The 2016 FarmBorough Festival is scheduled to take place on June 17-19 at Randall's Island Park in New York City. More information about the festival, including ticketing details, is available on the festival's official website.
