Nominees for the 2016 CMA Awards will be revealed on Wednesday (Aug. 31). Dierks Bentley, Cam and Keith Urban will help make the announcements.

Bentley, Cam and Urban will appear live from the Grand Ole Opry House during the 8:30AM half-hour segment of Good Morning America to reveal the nominees in select CMA Awards categories. Additional nominees will be revealed on GoodMorningAmerica.com and via a Facebook Live event on GMA's Facebook page, while Cam will be notifying Broadcast Station of the Year and Personality of the Year nominees with personalized video messages.

“Having these three artists participate together in our 50th anniversary celebration on Good Morning America makes this kickoff to an especially historic Awards season a true celebration of our genre,” says Sarah Trahern, the CMA's chief executive officer. “To have Dierks, Cam and Keith standing on the Opry stage, where so much of the history of the Awards took place, just adds to the excitement of this year’s announcements.”

More than 7,600 professional members of the Country Music Association help determine CMA Awards nominees and winners.

The 2016 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC on Nov. 2 at 8PM ET. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return as co-hosts, and performers and presenters will be announced in the coming months.
