Three of country's biggest names took home honors at the fan-voted 2015 People's Choice Awards.

A visibly surprised Hunter Hayes took home the first country award of the evening, Favorite Male Country Artist, beating out Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton.

"Thanks for giving me a voice," Hayes said during his acceptance speech, "and giving me a reason to believe in myself."

Shelton was also nominated for the all-genre Favorite Male Artist; 'The Voice,' on which he is a judge, took home Favorite Competition TV Show.

After performing their latest single 'Freestyle,' Lady Antebellum accepted the Favorite Country Group trophy. The category's other nominees were the Band PerryFlorida Georgia LineRascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.

"We have been a band for eight years, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to do this," said Hillary Scott, who also happened to be celebrating her wedding anniversary. "We truly, truly have the greatest job in the world."

Lady A and Hayes will be hitting the road together this spring and summer on the just-announced Wheels Up 2015 Tour, also featuring Sam Hunt.

Carrie Underwood's Favorite Female Country Artist honor was giving out pre-ceremony, as the songstress was unable to attend the awards show. She thanked her fans for their "love and support" in a taped acceptance speech.

Underwood's Favorite Female Country Artist competition included Lucy HaleFaith HillMiranda Lambert and Dolly Parton.

Taylor Swift swept the three categories in which she was nominated: the all-genre Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song, the latter for 'Shake It Off.'
