Hunter Hayes is playing a prominent role in the upcoming 2015 Grammy Awards. The 23-year-old has been tapped to host the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, held before the TV broadcast ceremony, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 8, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM ET.

The ceremony, which will stream live at Grammy.com, features the presentations of the first awards from the approximately 70 categories. Fellow country star Rosanne Cash will present, while Old Crow Medicine Show will perform.

Hayes, who has been nominated for four Grammys in the past, is also nominated this year, for Best Country Solo Performance, for his song 'Invisible.'

“To be nominated for a Grammy is one of the most exciting things that can happen in your career,” Hayes says. “For ‘Invisible’ to be nominated is so special for me and my co-writers and the phenomenal team who recorded this record. This is one of the happiest days of my career so far.”

The 2015 Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 8, at 8 PM ET on CBS.
