TGIF, indeed! Friday at 2015 Country Jam meant top-notch acts like Frankie Ballard, Thompson Square and, of course, Australia's Keith Urban, as well as several new faces. 100-degree weather did not scare any fans away, and it was another country-filled day at the longtime Colorado country festival.

5. Jessica Lynn Dares Haters to 'Kick My Class'

Although she's not yet a household name, Jessica Lynn's performance on Country Jam's main stage made a big impression. Let's count the ways: She strutted. She showed off those powerful vocals. She batted her eyelashes and unleashed some fury. And she reminded us, and fans, of Shania Twain 20 years ago. But the best part? When she sang "Kick My Class," an invitation for all the haters out there to kiss her class, because she's taking the high road.

4. Frankie Ballard Covers "Old Time Rock and Roll"

Michigan born-and-bred Frankie Ballard paid homage to his Northern roots with a cover of Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll" on Friday at Country Jam 2015. Though the 1976 hit was released a few years before Ballard was born, that was no problem for the talented singer. As every country fan knows, Ballard smokes on guitar, and when it's time to rock, he rises to the challenge. Fans young and old were on their feet during the cover, and we think Seger would have been pretty proud, too.

3. Thompson Square's Music Gets Fans Onto the [Makeshift] Dancefloor

Married duo Thompson Square are over-their-heels in love with each other, and their romance was contagious during their set. Several couples headed to an open space by the stage to dance with one another, and really, what could be cuter in the heat of the Colorado sun, on National Kissing Day (June 19), no less? The gorgeous sounds of T2, a bright blue sky and summertime sunshine is a pretty spectacular arena for a spin. We couldn't get enough of the dancing, and we don't think you will, either.

2. Brad Paisley Announced as 2016 Country Jam Headliner

2015, meet 2016. If you're a Brad Paisley fan, you'd better book your tickets for Grand Junction, Colo. next year. The country legend and guitar king was announced as the first 2016 headliner, and though it will be hard to 'beat this summer' (or this year's festival), Paisley's known for "Crushin' It." Who's excited?

1. Husband of the Year Keith Urban Sings Happy Birthday to His Wife

Keith Urban is a husband to be admired, and he's always out to impress his No. 1 gal. No, his gorgeous A-list actress wife Nicole Kidman wasn't in attendance Country Jam, but that doesn't mean her husband wasn't thinking of her. Her birthday is June 20, and just before midnight (on June 19), Urban led the tens of thousands of country fans in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday." It isn't the first time Urban's made huge gestures of love for his woman. Remember the time he dedicated a song to her on their wedding anniversary? We love love.
