Christmas is coming soon ... at least, it is for country music fans. The Country Music Association has announced an air date for the 2015 CMA Country Christmas special, and revealed that Jennifer Nettles will be back as the show's host.

Nettles will return to host the TV special for the sixth year; the Sugarland member and solo artist has hosted the show every year since 2010.

“The holiday season is all about spreading joy. That’s one of my favorite things about CMA Country Christmas,” says Nettles (quote via WKRN-TV). “The festive performances and powerful collaborations, with so many artists I admire, make this the most wonderful time of the year!”

The show will be taped in front of a live audience on Nov. 7 -- just three days after the 2015 CMA Awards -- in Nashville, at the Grand Ole Opry House. In previous years, the concert has been held at Bridgestone Arena.

“The special will tape on a new day and in a new venue this year,” explains CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern. “The Opry was the home of the CMA Awards for many years, and it is nice to be back. And taping the show on Saturday is more convenient for Nashville families who have made this part of their holiday traditions.”

Those attending the CMA Country Christmas taping are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.

“Providing new toys for deserving children shines a spotlight on a worthy endeavor and reflects the values and spirit of giving found in our artists, industry and city,” Trahern explains.

The 2015 CMA Country Christmas special is scheduled to air on Dec. 3 at 9P ET on ABC. The lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 2015 CMA Awards are scheduled to air live from Nashville on Nov. 4 at 8PM ET on ABC.
