The lineup for the 2015 All for the Hall benefit concert in New York City has been announced, and it features four of country music's biggest names: Carrie UnderwoodBrad Paisley, Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris.

At All for the Hall, which is set to take place on Oct. 6 at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, the country stars will swap songs and stories in a very relaxed format. Attendees will get to see the highly acclaimed artists participate in a guitar pull, which is a Southern tradition that originated in Nashville: All four artists will be on stage together and take turns performing songs; the other singer can choose to add harmony or instrumentation, or simply look on and enjoy the ear-pleasing artistry.

The All for the Hall campaign began in 2005 because of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's need for long-term financial security. This year, the benefit concert's proceeds will go toward the Hall of Fame's education programs, which teach audiences about country music's beauty and cultural importance, according to the museum's website. Last year, the programs reached over 160,000 people.

Gill and Harris return to perform for the benefit each year, with a rotating cast of stars joining them. Past participants include Jason Aldean, Gregg Allman, Zac Brown, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Dwight Yoakam and more. All For the Hall has taken place in several locations, including Los Angeles last year.

Since 2009, Keith Urban and Gill have headed up Nashville's installment of the event, called We're All 4 the Hall. That event has raised more than $2 million for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum since its inception. Details for the 2015 event have not yet been announced.

A limited number of VIP tables and individual seats for the Big Apple Benefit are on sale now at the Hall of Fame's website.
