It seems more than just the winners of the 2014 CMT Music Awards had a reason to celebrate last week. The 13th annual ceremony, which aired on June 4, brought in the second largest audience in the history of the show, with more than three million viewers tuning in for the live broadcast.

The awards were up 10% in viewers from last year, making it the No. 1 original cable telecast for the day. In addition, the network earned an all-time high for female viewers ages 18 to 34. The broadcast was also the No. 1 rated program on Nielsen's Daily Top 5.

Actress Kristen Bell returned for the third year to host the show, marking her first time taking on the duties solo. Her opening number, 'Big Buckle, Moose Knuckle,' helped the show earn more than 40 million Twitter impressions, with 66 nationally trending topics, including #MooseKnuckle and #CMTawards

Some of country's top artists performed during the two-and-a-half hour show, including Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and Miranda Lambert, who took the stage with Carrie Underwood for their duet, 'Somethin' Bad' from Lambert's 'Platinum' album.

Underwood took home the night's highest honor, Video of the Year, for her song, 'See You Again.' See a complete list of winners here.
