A video Mindy McCready helped create as a suicide prevention PSA may have also been her own suicide note of sorts. The late country singer, who died Sunday of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, recorded a beautiful ballad called "I'll See You Yesterday," with its accompanying video featuring images of herself with the man she called her "soulmate," David Wilson, who died in January, also of an apparent suicide. The video ends on a full screen graphic that says "Suicide is preventable. Know the signs. Find the words. Reach out," and directs viewers to www.suicideispreventable.org. (Watch it below.)

"She told me that it was beautiful, it made her cry and was exactly what she wanted," says Dan Hanks, a friend of the late singer's who produced the video. (Quote via People magazine.) "I asked her if I could post it and Mindy's answer was, 'You'll know when it's right.' In hindsight, she was having me produce her suicide video."

"I'll See You Yesterday" was written by Mindy's pal, Courtney Dashe, along with Jason Walker. Mindy had intended to include the song on an upcoming album. Her version of it was produced by Wilson and is the last known musical collaboration the two made together.

Mindy McCready was 37 years old and the mother of two young sons, who remain in foster care in Arkansas. She reportedly shot herself on the front porch of her Arkansas home -- exactly where Wilson was found dead just weeks ago. Both cases are still under investigation.
