Two of country music's hottest acts are among the biggest nominees in the 2013 American Music Awards. Crossover superstar Taylor Swift and freshman duo Florida Georgia Line are up for some of the top awards at this year's event.

Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am were in New York City Thursday morning (Oct. 10) to reveal the first five categories live on ABC's 'Good Morning America.' That was followed by a press conference at B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill in Times Square, where the nominees in 17 additional categories were announced.

Swift rode the enormous success of her 'Red' album and tour to six nominations, including nods for Artist of the Year and Favorite Album - Pop/Rock. Florida Georgia Line were virtually unknown a year ago, but the record-breaking success of their multi-genre hit, 'Cruise,' propelled them to four nominations, including New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year.
