The 2013 American Country Awards aired Tuesday night (Dec. 10), featuring performances and acceptance speeches from some of the biggest acts in country music. But while fans love the chance to get to vote for their favorites, not everyone loves the annual broadcast.

In years past, the ACAs have been dogged by difficult reviews from both fans and the press, mainly centering around a few elements: that there are too many categories, the writing is corny, and the broadcast always pairs Trace Adkins with some mis-matched co-host.

Still, it's an opportunity for fans to get to vote directly for their favorites and decide the awards, instead of watching as awards are presented that have been decided by industry peers -- and the show features a lot of great live music, too.

What did you think of this year's show? Did they get it just right, or do you think the ACAs need an overhaul? Vote below as often as once an hour, and let us know why you voted the way you did in the comments section below.
