Brantley Gilbert Tour Is ‘Hell on Wheels’ for First-Time Headliner
Fresh off the success of two No. 1 hits, including his recent "You Don't Know Her Like I Do," Brantley Gilbert has announced he will embark on his very first headlining tour, Hell on Wheels. The Georgia native will kick off the trek on Sept. 27 in Lafayette, Ind., with Uncle Kracker, Greg Bates and Brian Davis joining him on various dates.
The singer-songwriter, who penned every song on his debut album, Halfway to Heaven, has also had a hand in writing several hits for other artists, including two of Jason Aldean's biggest hits -- "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party."
"It's an honor that someone like Jason would want to record one of my songs," the 27-year-old says. "It's a big step for me as a songwriter and I couldn't have asked for a better artist to perform the song. After all, he is a Georgia boy!"
The 27-year-old is currently on the road with Toby Keith's Live in Overdrive tour, which will wrap up Sept. 22 in Boston, Mass.
