We're sending well-wishes to Miranda Lambert, who has had to cancel and postpone shows due to illness. "Due to overextending her voice, Miranda Lambert has been placed on vocal rest," her publicist told The Boot. "She's under the care of her doctor and she hopes to return to the road next weekend."

Tonight's (July 6) stop at the Jam in the Valley festival in Varysburg, N.Y. has been canceled, while the Facebook page for the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pa., where the Texas native was schedule to perform on Saturday, July 7, says the stop has been "postponed."

As for the Jam in the Valley festival, the event's promoters have filled Miranda's slot in the show. Gretchen Wilson and Sawyer Brown will perform tonight (July 6). Organizers also ask fans to keep all unused tickets and wristbands as they "formulate a plan for refunds and/or reimbursements."

Miranda hopes to make her shows that are scheduled for next week: Orange Beach, Ala. (July 12); Atlanta, Ga. (July 13); and Pelham, Ala. (July 14). Click here for the country superstar's full concert schedule.
