She has one of the strongest female voices in rock music, and Grace Potter is also quickly becoming a favorite in country circles. Along with her band, the Nocturnals, the blond beauty is opening shows on Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's Brothers of the Sun tour, winning over fans with their high-energy set and infectious tunes.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals' fourth studio album, The Lion The Beast The Beat, is due in stores June 12 and promises to be their most eclectic project yet, drawing on influences that range from 60's R&B to 70's rock to contemporary country. "This album is really a different animal than our previous records -- no pun intended," says Grace. "(It) plays on the duality of human nature -- the fact that we all have our demons, and we all have the ability to be good."

The Boot has the exclusive world premiere of a deeply personal tune from the upcoming album, "Stars." Listen below.
