Lady Antebellum have selected a winner in their 'Own the Night' prom contest, and while students from Silver Creek High School submitted the top video, they didn't do so on their own behalf. In their entry, the SCHS crew made the case for another school from West Clark, Ind. -- nearby Henryville High School, which was heavily damaged by tornadoes earlier this month. (See a photo of the devastation below.)

"Nothing is going to erase the memory of that day for these kids," says a Henryville art teacher in SCHS's video (watch below). "But we can give them something that's going to make it a little easier on them."

Silver Creek's altruistic students weren't the only ones to campaign for Henryville, and schools from around the nation sent videos in support of the storm-ravaged institution.

While scheduling conflicts will prevent Lady A from attending Henryville's April 28 prom, the country trio has something bigger planned. On May 16, the 'Dancin' Away with My Heart' group will perform in nearby Louisville, Ky., for the school's juniors and seniors. They'll follow that with a benefit for the entire community.

"We cannot wait to own the night with you guys," said singer Hillary Scott in a video announcement. "We love you. See you soon, Henryville."
