Craig Morgan has both singer TV-show host on his resume, but he's quickly adding acting credentials as well. The Tennessee native and former Army paratrooper will guest star in an upcoming episode of 'Army Wives' on March 18. And after convincing actress Angie Harmon to star alongside a canine competitor in his hilarious video for the new hit, 'This Ole Boy,' Craig has lined up another TV gig.

While shooting scenes for his video on a farm just outside of Nashville, Craig and Angie became fast friends and instantly hatched out a plan for him to appear in an upcoming episode of her TNT series, 'Rizzoli and Isles,' a crime drama set in Boston.

"Oh, I'm gonna be on the show," Craig reveals to the Boot. "I'm there! I just invited myself. I'm a police officer, so it's a no-brainer! I can play a law enforcement officer from the South ... we just made all this up five minutes ago, we wrote all this. [Laughs] We still have to talk to the writers and producers and everything but, we're pretty sure!"

"Done," Angie says of the proposed guest spot for her new buddy. "Can you do a Boston accent: 'Pahk the cah in Havahd Yahd'?" [Laughs]

In addition to their shared love of acting, Craig and Angie recognize that they both have a daredevil, thrill-seeking side to their personalities that may get them into trouble if they do meet again on the 'Rizzoli and Isles' set.

"Craig didn't have me swinging from any ropes or ziplining or anything for this video, but I would do it in a heartbeat," the actress tells The Boot. "I think you just find the people in life that you share mutual qualities with. So being the adrenaline junkie that I am, and the daredevil that he is, gosh we didn't know that before this ... that's probably not good!"

"Yeah, we'll be skydiving and our spouses will be on the ground with drinks waiting," Craig adds with a laugh.

Craig is currently celebrating the highest chart debut in his career as 'This Ole Boy' hit the Top 5 on the country album chart. He's already picked a tune he thinks will be the most popular from the new collection, 'Corn Star.'

"That's going to be the biggest hit of my career," Craig told Reuters. "When Jeffrey Steele and Shane Minor were writing it they called me and said I needed to be a part of it because it was right up my alley. People are loving it. It's huge. I really believe it will be one of the most memorable hits of my career -- it's that big. I don't care who you are, you could live in New York City and you could envision every line of the song."

And he's already got another celebrity in mind to make a guest appearance in the the video.

"I want Lady Gaga. I can see her in a corn stalk outfit."
