Brad Paisley is in the middle of his Virtual Reality world tour, but he still found time to make his Broadway debut this week! The 'Camouflage' singer surprised audience members Monday night (Feb. 27) by appearing in the finale of his good friend William Shatner's one-man play, 'Shatner's World: We Just Live in It' at the Music Box Theatre.

According to TheaterMania.com, the country singer came out for a reprise of the show's final musical number. This isn't the first time the West Virginia native has teamed up with the 'Star Trek' actor. Shatner appeared in both Brad's 2003 video, 'Celebrity' and his 2007 clip, 'Online.' The singer-songwriter returned the favor by penning the song 'Real' for the actor's album, 'Has Been' one year later, as well contributing his vocals to a song on Shatner's space-themed CD, 'Searching for Major Tom.' 'Real' is one of the songs featured in the Broadway show.

And although acting runs in the family -- he's married to actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley -- Brad will most likely stick to his country music career for the time being. The singer says he has high hopes for the remainder of this year.

"I've got some strong possibilities for stuff that could be cool," he told USA Today. "If a few of them materialize, then I think 2012 is going to be not only the end of the world but a really creative Armageddon."

Brad's tour, which includes Scotty McCreery and the Band Perry, heads to Maryland, Tennessee and Kentucky this week. Keep track of his schedule here.
