Our thoughts and prayers are with Thompson Square's Shawna Thompson, following the cancellation of three appearances due to a family emergency. "Shawna's father has been quite ill for a few months, and she needs to be by his side at this time," reads a statement on the duo's website.

David Nail will fill in for the couple on Lady Antebellum's Own the Night tour stops in Detroit, Mich. (Feb. 25) and Evansville, Ind. (Feb. 26). Shawna and husband Kiefer Thompson were also scheduled to perform at the New Faces show tonight (Feb. 24) as part of Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. CRS officials tell The Boot that Thompson Square will not be replaced with another act. Country radio personnel vote on the coveted performance slots, which this year include Hunter Hayes, David Nail, Sunny Sweeney and the Eli Young Band.

Thompson Square's next Own the Night scheduled tour date is March 2 in New Orleans, La. No word yet on how their current situation will effect the date. See their full concert schedule here.
