Tim McGraw's long-awaited album, 'Emotional Traffic' took no time to claim the top spot on Billboard's Country Albums chart this week. The disc marks the superstar's 13th to top the country chart. The singer scored his first No. 1 album, 'Not a Moment Too Soon,' in 1994.

With sales of 67,000 units, according to Nielsen Soundscan, the collection notched a No. 2 debut on the multi-genre Billboard 200 chart. Tim's previous studio disc, 'Southern Voice,' also reached No. 1 on the country chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album's current single, 'Better Than I Used to Be,' is sitting just outside the Top 20. It's the follow-up to the No. 1 (and gold-certified) single, 'Felt Good on My Lips.'

"I just try to go in and find the best songs I can find, songs I really like, and try to let the music and the songs take you where they take you," Tim tells The Boot. "I don't really put any kind of parameters on anything I'm doing. It's gonna be me when I open my mouth, no matter how much I do anything different, it's still gonna be me ... Ultimately, as an artist, you have to go in and cut songs you like and make them sound the way you want them to sound, and hopefully, the people will like it."

'Emotional Traffic' is Tim's final studio album for Curb Records. A legal battle was resolved in part last November, allowing him to pursue another record deal and for this album to finally see the light of day. The next part of the legal wrangling is expected to take place in July, when a judge will determine whether or not the singer breached his contract by turning the album in ahead of schedule.

Also making its debut this week is '100 Proof,' the third album from Kellie Pickler and her first since 2008. The disc bows at No. 2 on the country chart and comes in at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, selling 27,000 units in its first week. Kellie's previous albums both topped the country chart, while '100 Proof' becomes her highest-charting collection on the pop chart, as her first two albums both reached No. 9.

Toby Keith's 'Red Solo Cup' is bottomless, as it continues its reign atop the Country Digital Tracks chart with more than 1.2 million units now sold. Toby's tenure is keeping Luke Bryan's 'I Don't Want This Night to End' at No. 2, while Taylor Swift's 'Ours,' Jake Owen's 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' and Lee Brice's 'A Woman Like You' round out the top five.

'Emotional Traffic,' by the way, is now the year's best-selling album, just ahead of Lady Antebellum's 'Own the Night.' The two acts (who have toured together in the past), will both be on tour in 2012. Lady A are already breaking attendance records, while Tim's Emotional Traffic tour kicks off on March 7 in Houston, Texas.
