Brad Paisley is known for pulling pranks on his opening acts, but with the Band Perry out on the road with him for the Virtual Reality world tour, he may finally have met his match. The trio decided they wouldn't wait for the 'Camouflage' singer to strike.

The siblings were "the first to throw the punch," Reid Perry admits to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, explaining that they recently threw a curve-ball in their nightly ritual of joining the country superstar on stage for his solemn hit, 'Whiskey Lullaby.' Brad couldn't help but laugh, subsequently flubbing the song, when he noticed the Perry clan take the stage wearing Spock-like alien ears.

"Just a little subtle thing to kick off the tour," Reid laughs. "We were wondering, do you pre-emptively prank Paisley or do you wait for him to start it?"

The trio should certainly watch their backs, as revenge will certainly be Brad's sooner or later. Hidden raw chicken on their tour bus, perhaps, as he once did to Blake Shelton? Or maybe he'll trap the Perry siblings in a cage and roll them out on stage like he once did to Jack Ingram? (Read some of Brad's best pranks here.)

The Band Perry are headed to Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards this weekend, where they are nominated in the Best New Artist category. They will also perform, along with Glen Campbell and Blake Shelton, as part of a special tribute to Glen, honoring the 75-year-old's Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, which he will receive on Feb. 11.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles' Staples Center, Sunday Feb. 12 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
