Keith Urban is indeed recovering well from throat surgery. He's already scheduled his first live performance since his Nov. 22 procedure to remove a polyp that had developed on his vocal cords. The Aussie country superstar will appear at one of his favorite venues, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, for the Grand Ole Opry show on Feb. 3. It's the last night the Opry will be at the Ryman for its winter run in the historic venue. The next day, it will return to the Opry house, where Keith has already scheduled his next Opry visit for March 9.

The four-time Grammy winner isn't just easing back into performing; he's quickly filling up his 2012 calendar. He has also scheduled a Feb. 10 'Date Night With Keith Urban' show in Austin, Texas, benefiting the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation. Proceeds will help the foundation with new technology to detect genetic mutations, including the fatal Batten disease. The very next day, the 'You Gonna Fly' singer will play the San Antonio Stock and Rodeo show. Keep up with his tour schedule here.

You can also catch Keith, or at least his fully-recovered voice, on the big screen next month. He teamed up with Monty Powell to write the song, 'For You,' for the movie, 'Act of Valor,' which hits theaters Feb. 24. The song will play during the film's credits and is also available on the soundtrack, which will be released Feb. 21.

"I loved the challenge of writing for a film," says Keith. "I've never done that before."
