Dierks Bentley fans certainly know how to party. And it seems more than half a million of them have discovered a new anthem in 'Am I the Only One.' The good-time single from late last summer has officially been certified gold, signifying sales of over 500,000 digital downloads, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The lead-off radio hit from the Arizona native's upcoming album, 'Home' rapidly became Dierks' eighth chart-topper as both artist and writer after its release. The album's second single -- and title track -- is quickly headed to the No. 1 spot as well, with the album officially set for a Feb. 7 release.

In spite of being inspired to pen 'Am I the Only One' for his friends who preferred staying at home one Friday night rather than going out to party, Dierks admits he doesn't always mind being a homebody, especially now, with a wife and two young daughters to keep him entertained.

"I love being at home," Dierks tells The Boot. "I love getting on the couch, getting a beer, playing with the girls, rough-housing. That being said, I often do go out because there's so much great music and people playing around town. Once I motivate to get out, I'm having a great time, often too good a time, and I'm paying for it the next day. I see so many people on the road and we have so much fun out there, that when I come home, I just love, love, love being on the couch and hanging with the girls."

Dierks adds that 'Am I the Only One' resonates with country fans who are looking to get out, drink some cold beer on the weekends and have a good time.

"It's become one of the rowdiest songs in our set," he acknowledges. "It's now the moment in the show when girls go up on shoulders and beer cans go up in the air."

Note to guys: get your shoulders ready and your beer-can-hoisting arms in shape. The second leg of Dierks' Country & Cold Cans tour resumes on Feb. 15 with the first dates scheduled internationally in Canada and Australia. The singer will return home to Nashville for a special album release show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on Feb. 2. (If he can get up off the couch!) Keep track of his upcoming tour schedule here.
