Rascal Flatts have already announced plans to release a new album, and the trio are also plotting their foray into another creative outlet. According to bassist Jay DeMarcus, the stylish threesome may add the title of fashion designers to their already impressive resume.

"We're right now in the design phase, but it's definitely something we want to do," Jay divulges to GAC. "We're looking for the right partner to help us implement those things right now."

The singers have remained at the forefront of fashion, onstage and on the red carpet, since their debut more than a decade ago. The group credits stylist John Murphy for striking the perfect balance between individuality and continuity among the three differing personalities of the group.

"[He] has come up with some concepts and some lines that are individually unique for the three of us," Jay says. "We're really excited about the possibilities and we've just now started pitching the ideas to some different kinds of partners that would make sense for us to implement this."

The trio have dabbled in the fashion world in the past, promoting JC Penney's American Living clothing line, but have not produced a clothing line of their own. Curious to know what the guys will wear during their performance of 'Easy' with pop singer Natasha Bedingfield at next week's CMA Awards? Tune in on Nov. 9 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC to find out!
