Kellie Pickler returned to 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Tuesday (Oct. 4) to discuss her new music, her new life as a wife and to have a little on-air fun.

Before singing her latest single, 'Tough,' on the talk show, the blond beauty was treated to a "spa package." Sporting a fluffy robe, Kellie relaxed while a facialist and masseuse prepared to indulge her with a chocolate and sour cherry mask and Reiki massage. Of course, Ellen had to add her own humorous twist to the pampering, dotting Kellie's face with marshmallows and graham crackers, making her into a human s'more. Watch the hilarious video below.

Always the good sport, Kellie laughed and took a nibble of some of her 'facial' before quickly cleaning up and wowing the audience with a performance that kept them on their feet throughout the song.

During the interview segment of the show, Kellie gushed about her groom, songwriter Kyle Jacobs. "We're still together!" she smiled. "We are still together and it's really great."

One bonus to their marriage is that Kyle apparently isn't the jealous type. Kellie recalled her last visit to Ellen's show, when she was stunned by a surprise, on-air bachelorette party featuring Chippendales dancers. "Kyle likes to believe that they're probably all gay anyway," the singer jokes of the half-naked guys. "I was like, 'Well yeah! Of course!' I don't know. I didn't ask them."

The songbird couldn't help continuously glancing over her shoulder as she was chatting with Ellen -- undoubtedly because of the funny lady's propensity to surprise her guests with people in costumes, dressed in everything from clowns to gorilla bears. But Kellie admits she is always a bit on edge.

"I think it's just natural. I've always been that way, long before 'American Idol,'" she insists. "I just get this paranoia about people, I don't like to have my back to anything. I like my back to be the wall. I know there's a wall behind me, but it moves and there's stuff behind it."

The songbird is a frequent (and favorite) guest on the Emmy-winning 'Ellen DeGeneres Show,' and says she'll gladly visit anytime she's invited. "Ellen's so great, she's so wonderful," Kellie tells The Boot. "She is by far the best television show, talk show, any show like that that we've done. She's the best on camera and off camera. She really is. She's one of those people who when she says something, she means it. She's really sincere. She really cares."

Kellie, who has also been surprised by her idol, Clint Eastwood, on 'Ellen,' says that even though they don't keep in touch on a regular basis, she is proud to call the comedienne a friend. "I don't see her unless we're out there doing the show," she explains. "I'm usually on the road. It's so wild because with her, we just pick up where we left off. I guess that's the kind of friendship that we have, and that I have with a lot of people, with our schedules being so crazy."

Kellie is putting the finishing touches on her new album. 'Tough,' which is the debut single from the upcoming project, is steadily climbing the charts. Listen to the song and read our exclusive interview with the singer here.
