Fresh off her ACM Entertainer of the Year win, Taylor Swift leads the Nashville pack in Billboard Music Awards nominations, giving country music a strong presence in many all-genre categories.

The 21-year-old 'Mean' singer nabbed a nomination as Top Artist, facing-off with pop heavyweights Lady Gaga, Eminem, Rihanna and Justin Bieber in the fight for the coveted trophy. Taylor is also recognized in the Billboard 200 category, no doubt fueled by her million-copy first week sales of 'Speak Now' last October. Taylor will be competing with Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum as Top Country Artist.

Lady Antebellum also join Taylor as Billboard 200 nominees, and are nominated in the Billboard 200 Album category with their Grammy-winning 'Need You Now.' The trio are also up for the all-genre Top Group/Duo award, competing with Bon Jovi, Black Eyed Peas, U2 and Linkin Park.

The Band Perry earned their first nomination with 'If I Die Young,' joining Miranda Lambert's 'The House That Built Me,' Sugarland's 'Stuck Like Glue,' Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now' and Taylor's 'Mine' in the Top Country Song category. Jason's 'My Kinda Party,' Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now,' Sugarland's 'The Incredible Machine,' Zac Brown Band's 'You Get What You Give,' and Taylor's 'Speak Now' will all compete for Top Country Album.

The Billboard Music Awards are based on numerous factors, including sales, airplay, touring, streaming and social interaction from February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011. The publication honors the top musicians in 46 categories across all genres of music, including country, pop, rock, R&B, alternative, Latin and Christian music.

The trophies will be presented May 22 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The ceremony will air live on ABC. Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum have already been confirmed to perform.
