Martina McBride may be an international superstar, but at home she's just mom. At least that's the way her teenager daughters, Delaney (16) and Emma (13), see it.

"They're at the age now where they really understand what I do and see it more than just Mom goes to work and sings. They understand it in context because they have musicians that they look up to and admire," she recently explained (quote via CMT). "I think it still blows their minds that I have fans. They're like, 'What? You're just mom!'"

The girls may not be overly affected by Mom's stellar singing career, but the powerhouse vocalist can't help but boast about her children. "The best part is seeing my kids grow and become individuals, and the fact that they're happy and well-adjusted," Martina tells The Boot. "When I see how they handle situations, I feel really proud of them, and that pride is such a great thing."

All three of Martina's daughters, including 6-year-old Ava, will share the spotlight with their famous mom when they join GAC's Nan Kelley for a special Mother's Day interview this weekend during the network's weekly Top 20 countdown. It's likely that Martina's new video for 'Teenage Daughters,' which was inspired by their adolescent antics, will appear on the show.

Martina will perform double-duty as both host and performer later this month, when she emcees the annual Leadership Music Dale Franklin Award gala May 17 in Nashville. Martina will be joined by Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Ronnie Milsap and Little Big Town, as they offer musical tributes to this year's honoree, the Country Music Association.

In other Martina news, she is putting the finishing touches on her new album, which will hit shelves August 23. 'Teenage Daughters' is inside the Top 20 on the charts and climbing. She will perform several shows over the summer, including an appearance at Nashville's CMA Music Fest on June 11. Keep track of her tour schedule here.
