This month's ACM Lifting Lives 'My Cause' web segment feature is 'Resolve to Help Your Country,' featuring Reba McEntire and Trace Adkins. 'My Cause' is an outlet for artists to share their favorite charities, and urge listeners to contribute to them. Aimed at U.S. fans, Reba focuses on the American Red Cross, while Trace talks about the Wounded Warrior Project.

"People have heard me talk before and tout the Wounded Warrior Project and I'm going to do it again," Trace says. "These are the heroes that we as a country have produced and it's coming upon us to make sure they have everything could possibly need, and I say, everything they could possibly want. That's what the Wounded Warrior Project tries to do for these guys."

Trace was presented with the Wounded Warrior Project's 2010 Talkhouse Award, an accolade that he finds a little disconcerting. "It's a little embarrassing, actually," Trace told The Boot. "When I think of the sacrifices that the men and women of the military make in comparison to what I do, it is embarrassing, I have to say."

Reba's video covers a multitude of causes, but she makes mention of the American Red Cross, which she says is "very near and dear to my heart."

Reba was also featured in August's 'My Cause' talking about Reba's Ranch House, a home-away-from-home for families traveling from out of town to be with their loved ones at the Texoma Medical Center. It's a service they've been providing, Reba says, "since the middle '80s."

'My Cause' launched in August and features a new theme each month. This month focuses on causes that serve the nation in times of war or disaster. Donations can be made to each charity using a donate link available with each video.

A new My Cause theme with more artists and charities will be announced in February.
