Luckily, a lot of words rhyme with Jake.

Sources tell People and Us Weekly magazines that Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have called it quits. The couple's two month romance began in October, as they were first spotted getting to know each other backstage at 'Saturday Night Live.' With Taylor promoting her latest album, 'Speak Now,' and Jake promoting his newest movie, 'Love and Other Drugs,' the pair racked up a lot of frequent flier miles during their courtship, with dates in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and London, among other places. But according to Us, it was the attention they got on those dates that led Jake to end things with the 21-year-old beauty.

"Jake cares about her, but [the publicity] was a lot for him," a source tells Us. "He wants to keep his private life private, and that's hard to do dating Taylor ... He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn't listen."

The magazine claims the break-up happened just before New Year's Eve. Taylor's reps do not comment on her love life, and fans all know the country superstar only talks about love publicly through song. So we'll just have to wait for album No. 4 to find out what really happened.
