Carrie Underwood knows a woman has a right to change her mind -- and her clothes -- as many times as she wants. The CMA Awards hostess sported at least eight different outfits during the course of the three-hour broadcast Wednesday night. Check out all of her hot CMA fashion in our gallery below.

The blond beauty started the night off in a feminine gray tiered gown, turning heads on the CMA's black carpet. She kicked off the show in skinny black cropped pants and a shiny black jacket, as she sang 'Songs Like This,' accompanied by Brad Paisley on guitar and Keith Urban on banjo. She dashed off stage before the last note and in what was nothing short of magic appeared a mere seconds later in an entirely different outfit -- short sparkly silver dress and black sky-high heels.

Dresses for Carrie's various presentations throughout the night included a feminine off-white floral party dress, summery yellow floor-length gown and a short green sassy number. A fitted floral top with a fluffy ballerina skirt was Carrie's show closer. But it was her majestic, flowing purple gown (which looked like it weighed more than her!) that has the fashion world buzzing today, as Carrie sported what was arguably the most memorable dress of the evening to sing her tear-jerking 'Mama's Song.'

Carrie did not take home a trophy in either category she was nominated for at the CMAs -- Female Vocalist and Album of the Year, but she certainly went home a fashion winner! See all of the 2010 CMA Awards black carpet pictures here.
