Miranda Lambert’s ‘Revolution’ Wins CMA Album of the Year

''Revolution' has truly caused a revolution in my life this year," Miranda Lambert said as she accepted the honor for Album of the Year. "Thanks to the country music industry. It's my baby. It's what I do, it's what I live for. Thank you so much for loving it, too"

Miranda continued to beam proudly, clutching her first-ever CMA award, and then made way for producer Frank Liddell, who began by acknowledging his wife (Lee Ann Womack) and their "beautiful girls." He also thanked co-producer Mike Wrucke, for taking the album "to a level I could have never dreamed of." He concluded by saying, "Years ago, Miranda called me and asked me to produce her first record. I told her I didn't think that would be a very good career move [for her]. She said if I didn't, her dad would probably kick my ..." He then thanked his own late father, "who set a really high mark."

Mike Wrucke thanked his wife, Natalie, and family and added thanks to "Frank and Miranda for wanting to do something different and taking some risks."

For Miranda, while the win may not be her last of the night, she had already been planning for some time not to let anyone forget it if it actually happened.

"I'm one of those people that will milk it to the last drop when I win something," she told The Boot earlier this year. "If Blake [Shelton, her fiancé]'s been bad, I say, "You can't talk to me like that, I won Album of the Year!" I have a lot more leverage; it is awesome [laughs]. Album of the Year is something that I'll always hope for."

Now that Blake is also a multiple CMA winner, Miranda may not have quite as much ammunition to work with!
