Darius Rucker is mixing his first passion, music, with his second, golf, in order to support PGA charities.

Darius wrote the song 'Together, Anything's Possible' specifically for the PGA Tour Charities. Starting with the song's January release, all proceeds from the first year of downloads will be donated to the organization that oversees the collection of causes, such as The First Tee, which helps youngsters build character and life skills through golf.

"It's truly an honor to partner with the PGA Tour to bring music and golf together to raise funds for charity," Darius says. "There's no greater privilege to me than to have an opportunity to be the voice of this organization through my music."

Darius will also work with the PGA Tour and his label, Capitol Records, to produce a custom music video, a 'making of' video and public service messages. He plans to attend and perform at some PGA tournaments next year, too.

That's likely a joy for the 'Don't Think I Don't Think About It' singer, who told the PGA that he has golfed with everyone from Tiger Woods to Arnold Palmer. He also said many of those he knows in music are often out on the links.

"Vince Gill is a great golfer. No Doubt drummer Adrian Young, can go out and shoot 66 -- he's an amazing golfer," Darius tells the PGA. "Alice Cooper is the most boring golfer I've ever played with. He's down the middle and on the green all day long. Huey Lewis is another guy who can really play."

With all the time Darius spends touring and recording, though, when does he have the time to get on the fairways? "I play more on the road than when I'm at home," he explains. "My life on the road is being in the bus and then from there I walk inside the amphitheater. You're basically inside the whole time. When you play golf, you get to be outside. It sounds simple enough, but when you spend so much time inside, you appreciate it more. It doesn't matter where I'm playing, I always say I've never seen an ugly golf course because it gives me that chance to be outside."

Darius is currently on tour. His next scheduled concerts are November 12 in Uncasville, Conn., and November 13 in Rochester, N.Y. For a complete list of dates and cities, check here.
