Taylor Swift is launching her new album 'Speak Now' in style, with several major television appearances. One in particular will have Taylor helping NBC-TV kick off their holiday season with a new one-hour network special next month. 'Taylor Swift -- Speak Now' will take fans on a whirlwind trip from New York City to Los Angeles with multiple one-of-a-kind performances, including a concert 30,000 feet in the air on a plane ride across the country.

The special, which airs Thanksgiving night (November 25) at 8:00 PM ET, also features behind-the-scenes footage of the singer-songwriter in the recording studio, at autograph signings, interviews and appearances, and will also take a peek into all of the events Taylor will attend during the week her new album is released.

'Speak Now' will be released worldwide on Monday (October 25) simultaneously in more than 40 countries, and the 20-year-old superstar will celebrate her CD release by performing songs that same day at the United Nations in New York City. The event will be streamed live by CMT and MTV networks worldwide beginning at 5:00 PM ET.

In the meantime, Taylor's official album release party will once again be hosted by talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres, who will devote her entire one-hour show to Taylor on November 1st. Taylor is also set to make other television appearances to launch 'Speak Now.' She's set to perform on NBC's 'Today Show' and CBS' 'The Late Show With David Letterman' on Tuesday, October 26, followed by the syndicated 'Live With Regis & Kelly' on Wednesday, October 27 and ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars' on Tuesday, November 2.

Taylor is currently making her way to the top of the country charts with her single 'Mine,' the first release from 'Speak Now.'
