Listen to Zac Brown explain how he and his bandmates celebrated 'You Get What You Give's' debut at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts, and it sounds like the Tuesday night party may be ongoing. "Last night, we had to go out and really celebrate," Zac told The Boot the afternoon after he got the word, as he and the band taped an AOL Music Sessions in our Los Angeles studios. "We did some foresting last night. We went swimming in a natural spring and we danced [laughs] ... yeah, that's what happened."

We're still trying to figure out where they found a natural spring in Los Angeles and what "foresting" means in this context. "We're hurting a little bit from the night before," he finally admits.

The good news came down while the band was taping 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' "So we were all in a room together," Zac says. "It's just getting ridiculous at this point ... all the milestones that keep coming to us, and this is such a tremendous one," he continues. "It's an amazing blessing. We're proud to be lifetime musicians and a band that lives like a band and loves the music and gives our lives to it."

Among the amazing milestones? A best new artist Grammy earlier this year and five nominations, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year, for the upcoming Country Music Association Awards.

ZBB faced stiff competition on the chart from Maroon 5, who came in at No. 2. Only 11,000 copies separated the two with 'You Get What You Give' selling 153,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The band couldn't resist poking a little fun at Maroon 5 last week, tweeting, "In the time it takes Maroon 5 to fix their hair, you could've listened to our new CD."

It's all in good fun, Zac says. "I don't know [Maroon 5 lead singer] Adam [Levine] or those guys, but I am a fan of theirs. Just being up there in the headlines in print next to them is really cool. I fell in love with their first record; I listened to it for a year."

Plus, he blames guitarist Clay Cook for the zinger. "He should be the last person to ever drive you around, or blog or tweet. He's a little off his meds right now," Zac laughs.
